Congressman Hulshof's Earmark Meltdown

Congressman Kenny Hulshofs squandering of taxpayer money on 11,000 wasteful Congressional earmarks provides Missourians with 11,000 reasons not to vote for Hulshof, according to a new online video of Hulshof released today by the Missouri Democratic Party. Hulshof consistent record of supporting wasteful political pork in Washington has plagued his campaign and contributed to its meltdown. Political scientist George Connor of Missouri State University said Hulshof is cursed because he has supported congressional earmarks, which have drawn fire from Democrats and McCain. They're all saying we need to change the way Washington does business, and Congressman Hulshof is stuck, Connor said. I don't think there's anything he can do to close the gap. Hulshof Campaign Meltdown Part 4

Video from the moments following the October 21 assault of Missouri Democratic Party employee Vinay Vaz at a rally for Congressman Kenny Hulshof reveal the assailant and his accomplices even questioning whether or not Hulshof will actually be able to win the race. The individual, believed to be associated with the Hulshof campaign, and his cohorts also referred to Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as hot, pondering if that is sufficient reason to support her candidacy, and the assailant went on to discuss in detail his fondness for skinning and cooking squirrels in various manners. The identity of the assailant is still unknown. Read more at CongressmanKenny.com

Hulshof Campaign Meltdown Part 3

The still unknown individual who assaulted Missouri Democratic Party employee Vinay Vaz at a Republican Party rally for Congressman Kenny Hulshof on Tuesday linked himself to the Hulshof campaign. The assailant noted that Hulshofs remarks at the event were no different than those at Hulshofs last 20 events and that he would be attending upcoming Hulshof events. Congressman Hulshof was on stage proclaiming himself the candidate of values and integrity while these men were verbally demeaning and physically assaulting their fellow American who had done them no wrong. Yet, Congressman Hulshof still refuses to personally condemn what happened. He refuses to do what is in his power to turn over the identity of the perpetrator. Congressman Hulshofs silence and inaction speak volumes, said Zac Wright, Missouri Democratic Party spokesman. More video has become available of the instigator and his accomplices harassing Vaz, asking Vaz where he currently lives and his nationality. The newly available video can be viewed online at: As Vaz was being physically and verbally assaulted, Hulshof was on stage saying, We need to instill in our kids values, vision and integrity. [West Plains Daily Quill, 10/22/08] How does refusing to condemn the actions of this disturbed individual instill values or integrity in Missouris children? Congressman Hulshof needs to muster the courage to speak up, Wright added. See more at CongressmanKenny.com

More footage now available of the assault

More footage is now available of the assault on a Democratic Party employee at a Republican Party rally for Congressman Kenny Hulshof, renewing their call for action by the Congressman. A video compilation of further incidents of assault are now available online at: Clearly, this is a disturbed individual who appears to be a political staffer at the Congressmans rally. Congressman Hulshof owes it to the people of Missouri to personally condemn the abhorred actions that took place at his rally. Congressman Hulshof and his campaign have the power to help identify this person, but refuse. The Congressman should do what is in his power to identify this troubled individual, said Zac Wright, Missouri Democratic Party spokesman. Confronted with footage of the incident earlier today, Congressman Hulshof was personally silent while his campaign failed to take any responsibility for the assault that took place at his rally.

Priorities

Asked what the top three priorities of a potential Hulshof administration would be in an interview following the first Gubernatorial debate, Congressman Kenny Hulshof responded, jobs, jobs and jobs. But when he had the chance, Congressman Hulshof opposed economic packages that would have addressed the wholesale export of American jobs and instead gave priority with taxpayer money for wasteful pork projects like the Bridge to Nowhere, the Woodstock Museum and roughly 11,000 other earmarks.

Clearly frustrated and still unable to defend his Washington record, Congressman Kenny Hulshof narrowly kept his composure when asked by a reporter to respond to questions about his Washington record of supporting big oil at a time of record gas prices.
