Tell Senator Jim Talent that Missouri needs a Senator who will stand up for our state and not be a rubber stamp for the Bush White House. A new study shows that Republican Senators have voted with the White House an astonishing 91% of the time.

Over the last 2 years, Republican Jim Talent has voted with President Bush nearly 100% of the time — 94% in 2004 and an astonishing 98% in 2003. Tell him that you don't want a Senator who can't be his own man and is just a rubber stamp for the Bush-Cheney Administration's misguided policies.

Dear Senator Talent, A new report shows that Republican Senators have voted with the White House 91 percent of the time and that you have supported the Bush-Cheney agenda at an even higher percentage. Missouri's families don't need a rubber stamp in the U.S. Senate; we need an independent leader who will put our interest first.  Please stop being a rubber stamp for the failed policies of the White House and the Republican leadership, because Missouri needs a leader who will stand up for Missourians.
