Tell Matt Blunt He Owes You an Apology

Gov. Matt Blunt insulted millions of Missourians this week when he said that Democrats in Missouri can only be found “where nobody wants to live.”

Blunt’s remark is an insult to all Democrats and independents across the state who deserve a governor who will look out for all of our interests instead of coddling his special interests.

Show your pride in your hometown and in your state by sending Blunt an email telling him you are proud that you live where you do and you want a governor who represents all Missourians. Tell Matt Blunt that he owes you and your hometown an apology!

Dear Governor Blunt, You recently said that Democrats can only be found in "places where nobody wants to live." I resent this remark. I am proud of my hometown and of my state. I believe that Missouri deserves a governor who will stand up for all Missourians and not divide us along political lines. Your insulting remark will do nothing to improve the lives of Missourians or to solve the many problems facing our state. I believe the people of this state, no matter where they live, deserve better. You owe me an apology.
